## What is Theo

Theo is a onchain financial platform that gives onchain investors access to institutional-grade financial products. Platform offerings include fixed income, structured credit, and commodities products — all tokenized onchain for investors to hold or allocate across DeFi.

**Allocators and treasuries** use Theo as a venue for cash and commodity exposure, with the strategy managed on their behalf.

**Wallets, neobanks, and applications** integrate Theo assets so their own users can earn without the integrator building strategy infrastructure.

**Layer-1 and Layer-2 ecosystems** use Theo products as a source of consistent, non-crypto-correlated yield to anchor financial activity on their chain.

**DeFi protocols** treat the tokens as composable primitives: sthUSD is ERC-4626, and thGOLD is a yield-bearing commodity that can serve as collateral.
