## How Theo works

Every Theo product follows the same shape.&#x20;

**Mint or purchase.** KYC'd and whitelisted users can mint directly. Otherwise, you can purchase Theo products on secondary venues like Uniswap and Curve.

**Stake or hold.** Yield accumulation varies by product. For thUSD, users must stake to begin receiving yield. For thBILL, yield accrues automatically to all holders.

**Use in DeFi.** Theo products can be used in DeFi as collateral, allowing users to create customized returns and risks profiles based on their needs. To find a list of venues where Theo products can be used, check [app.theo.xyz](https://app.theo.xyz/).&#x20;

**Redeem or sell.** Users can exit by redeeming directly (gated by whitelist) or selling on secondary venues.
